Hi friends! Proxima Design Cat Toys is a small Maine business that strives to make the best cat toys available. I use only the best high-octane, organic catnip in the toys to please your feline friends. I focus on quality construction and durability in my designs. When you come back for a new toy it will be because your cat loved it, not because it wore out.Give one of my felt food-shaped toys a try - they are a great size and weight for chasing and carrying. I also make durable reinforced cotton kicker toys in a variety of patterns. Does your kitty like crinkle material? I've got several toys that crinkle, including my Catnip Crinkle Mats!

I began sewing and selling masks when the pandemic started. My skills were well-received and that really boosted my confidence as a sewist. As the masks died out, my real passion began to take center stage. I focused on my premium cat toys and made them my primary product. The food-shaped toys are my favorite items to make. Creating high-quality work that is still aesthetically fun is quite a challenge and one that I readily embrace.

A big part of my business is helping our local animal rescue centers however I can, whether that's through fundraising, donating cat toys or volunteering my time. Volunteering at The Greater Androscoggin Humane Society is the best part of my week! Through the end of March, MMA will donate $1 from every cat toy sold in-store or online to a worthy cause that I support.
