Box Fort Build Battle!

Join Maine Micro Artisans for our first Box Fort Build Battle! Get your team and start collecting cardboard! Team entry is $50. We have space for 8 teams. 

Here are the rules:

• Boxes must ONLY contain cardboard. No wooden crates or other reinforced boxes please. 
• You may only use scissors, a box cutter, duct tape and art supplies (decoration) to create your masterpiece. 
• You must supply your own cardboard, box cutter and scissors.  We'll supply each team with several rolls of duct tape! 
• Each team must contain at least one youth member under 18.

You may only use cardboard boxes and duct tape as the materials with which to create your masterpiece! This is a timed build. Materials will be inspected from 9 a.m. - 10 a.m. Once we're all ready to go we'll blow the whistle and the battle begins. Teams will have four hours to complete their build. 

Here is our challenge to you:

• Create a fort with two entrances/exits. 
• Your fort should hold two people at once 
• Create a hidden space within your fort.
• Your fort needs at least one window. 
• Your fort should be decorated! 

All teams must contain at least one active participant under 18 years of age!
